The Party's Over...

The weekend of festivities are now over and my guests have returned home but the memories of “Bernie’s Birthday” will stay with me forever.

I am adjusting to actually being 2 X 35 and even starting to think of myself as 70. But as Bernard Baruch said, I will never be an old man. To me, old age is always 15 years older than I am.

Florida delivered the warmth and the sun, Café Boulud a memorable meal with impeccable service, Robbie and Mark great music, the Palm Beach Steak House a nice buzz for our kick off, Sandy James Caterers and The Cove a smashing brunch and venue to fete the joint birthdays and Stephan for creating and marinating the web site. Manuel Monnier’s paintings are now hanging on my wall and bringing the vibrancy of life in Cap Ferrat, London and NY to Palm Beach.

Thank you very much to everyone who helped make my seventieth birthday so memorable for me. There was real joy and happiness in the air that lifted the event to a very special level

Please send me copies of the pictures you have taken. (berniesbirthday@gmail.com) We are putting them on the web with links from this page for all to see.

And on behalf of Brandeis University and the Arthur and Belle Lind Student Aide Fund, I thank you for your generous donations (click here for link).

Family and friends are the most important possessions we have. Looking forward to seeing you all again soon and celebrating many more happy events together.

Now enjoy some of the memories:

The pictures that I have are now posted on the web and can be accessed via the links below. I will also update as I get additional pictures.
